The client wants to raise the height of the house in order to enjoy the view of the forest. He also wants a large living-room on the ground, 3 individual bedrooms and much light. It will be built mainly in wood by local craftsmen .
A big concrete block pierced with circular openings makes room for a wide set of stairs and creates an airlock. The rest of the house is positioned on 6 feet which support the hexagonal wood structure. This disposition opens out views on the forest and the nearby lake. These openings extend towards a large balcony for the summer. The first floor is composed of three staggered blocks opening up on different directions, these volumes are out of lines with the ground floor so as to create balconies at the level of the tree tops.
