The ChromeScape concept come form researches on metal distortion. Thanks to a special pattern cutting in a stainless steel sheet we achieved to make metal flexible. This surface is sculpted in 3D with our industrial robot.
the project became a mirror. shaped like a landscape, a mountain topography. The pattern is bent to generate reflection and create optical illusions.
This simple piece of steel is transformed into an mysterious and poetical object.
